I have a mac mini that i recently bought with only 1GB of ram i would like to upgrade it to 4GB. I can't seem to figure out weather RAM in a mac mini is user serviceable. The apple web page says that mac mini ram is user serviceable but it also says that opening the mac mini case voids the warranty. i am very confused.

Only the newest models are able to upgrade to 4 Gb of RAM. If the unit is under warranty, it would be best to bring it in and have us perform the upgrade. We carry high quality lifetime warranty RAM, and never charge for installation of our RAM. If you have RAM from another vendor we can install the RAM for a $20 service fee, although we do not guarantee function of your supplied RAM.
